Meadowlark offers two separate paths for scholarships / sponsorship support. College students working toward degrees and certification in the nursing field can apply for these opportunities.
Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship
In partnership with the Kansas Board of Regents, we sponsor students working toward licensure as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Registered Nurses (RN). The scholarship is administered by the Kansas Board of Regents and Meadowlark can serve as a sponsor, contributing to the scholarship once a student can been licensed. This opportunity is for students who have already been accepted into a program and will not cover any prerequisites.
We also offer a sponsorship program for current employees who plan to attend a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. Ideally, employees should have worked at Meadowlark for at least six months before applying for a scholarship. These scholarships are funded through donations, so availability may vary.
As part of this program, we require recipients to make a commitment to working at Meadowlark. We ask that they commit to one year of service to Meadowlark for each academic year of sponsorship. This helps provide real-world experience on top of the educational assistance. To learn more, contact Human Resources.
