Jana Armfield is the Engagement Specialist at Meadowlark. Jana’s primary responsibilities include to manage, coordinate, and grow the Meadowlark Volunteer Program through recruitment, training, and supervision; support employees and job satisaction through engagement opportunities; and play an active role as a member of the Meadowlark Human Resources Team to recruit and welcome new employees.
Jana joined the Meadowlark team in July 2016 as a Hospitality Team member. In 2017, she transitioned into the human resources office and began her work with the volunteer program. Prior to coming to Meadowlark, Jana was the Resource Development Coordinator at Sunflower CASA Project, Inc. where she helped facilitate fundraising and outreach events, provided administrative support, and planned volunteer appreciation events.
In 2014, Jana graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in family studies and human services wit ha focus in non-profit leadership and a secondary major in gerontology. Jana is a member of the 2016 Leadership Manhattan graduating class.
She and her husband, Austin, live in the Manhattan area with their son, Isaac.
