With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Kourtney oversees critical functions such as payroll, onboarding, certification and license compliance, application screening, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and contacting references. Her dedication to fostering a collaborative team environment is evident in her readiness to assist her colleagues with any HR-related tasks.

Joining Meadowlark in September 2019, Kourtney brought with her a diverse professional background. Prior to her role at Meadowlark, she contributed her skills as a Receptionist at Wamego Family Clinic and served as a Foster Care Liaison at Compass Behavioral Health. Beyond her professional endeavors, Kourtney has actively engaged with the Wamego Recreational Department, demonstrating her passion for community involvement by coaching basketball and baseball.

Originally hailing from Red Oak, Iowa, Kourtney has made Wamego, KS, her home alongside her husband, Justin, and their beloved dog, Roxy. Her commitment to Meadowlark extends beyond her professional duties, as she finds immense joy in the holiday season at the organization. Kourtney appreciates the festive spirit that permeates the workplace during this time, from the enchanting Christmas decorations to the collective efforts of employees in raising funds for sponsored families. One of her favorite traditions is the Christmas Carousel, an event she enthusiastically embraces as a highlight of the season.
