Congrats to Dustin Price, Maintenance Mechanic, for being award Meadowlark’s Employee of the Month for October!

Dustin was nominated by a Meadowlark resident who had this to say: "Dustin is not only kind, but he always goes above and beyond his duties and is very helpful. There was a situation recently where a resident had fallen on campus, and Dustin notified a Nurse right away, and stayed with the resident until EMS arrived. He was calm during a challenging situation and showed great compassion and care."*

Galina is an amazing person and employee! She goes above and beyond for all residents and staff. She keeps a smile on her face throughout her shift and always keeps things positive, despite busy and challenging times. She is always willing to help and is extremely kind and very caring with each resident. We are thankful for all she does in Sloan House!"

Winners of 2024’s 15 Under 40 were recognized at a special reception in their honor Thursday, Jan. 18, in the Blue Sage Barn at Prairiewood. Among the list of honorees is Sarah Duggan, Community Relations Director at Meadowlark. 

“We are incredibly honored to recognize such a distinguished group,” said Jason Smith, president and CEO of the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, in a press release. “Our membership has been committed to engaging young professionals for the past several years and we feel very strongly that one way to engage is to recognize achievement.”
